Cultural Heritage Site along the megaliths Mount PadangSaturday
(14/07) morning we travel to the site in the village of Padang Mountain
megalith Kartamukti, District Campaka, Cianjur, West Java. The location is about 36 km from Warungkondang through CIBEBER-Campaka. We set out from the village head Sukadana at 10:00 pm. The
road to locations along approximately 7 miles, mostly made up of
cobbled streets we conquered the bike, it would be difficult if you use
four-wheeled vehicles. We
passed tea plantations, so occasionally we followed a shortcut through
the path in the middle of tea gardens to avoid cobblestones. Simply
make your hands and arms tired from keeping the steering wheel firmly
when climbing on a road that just be an array of large stones. That is what makes us a distance of about 7 km journey in nearly 1 hour.

Arriving at the location site megaliths Mount Padang, we bought admission tickets, two thousand dollars per person. Yet around the site there was no sandy areas. Thought intelligent or primitive technology built in anticipation of the construction is expected earthquake. The site is surrounded by several mountains, namely the Rock, G. Ancestor, G. Emped, G. Malati, and G. Malang

to research and excavations conducted by experts, large stones arranged

Or else again, a large tiger palm images recorded on a stone.Another thing that is the main attraction at the site is about a megalith stone. The
myth that developed among visitors tell that whoever speaks a desire
(consent) and then remove the stone and the stone is raised, then the
last wishes will come true (qabul). However, this is a myth, guides often told that anyone who can lift a stone, then indeed strong strength. Believe
it or not, I see the big and burly may not be able to remove the stone,
while those with a normal body it is able to raise. I
myself do not want to try to raise, I do not believe they are, and I
think that big rock is heavy, must be lifted with proper technique.
One thing that concerns me is the lack of public awareness about the environment. Guard
has repeatedly instructed that the site visitor activity in eating and
drinking only saung and dispose of waste in place, but there are still
many who leave leftovers in the area of the site, littered with it.For
those who want to visit the site, prepare your trip well, use sandals
or shoes that are comfortable to climb stairs, and do not forget to
